Last week Michael Stars had the opportunity to host the Step Up Women’s Network Pathways to Professions program for our second year.
Step Up brings the classroom to the board room with corporate field trips that expose Step Up Girls to new career options and new mentors.
The program serves high school juniors and is designed to help girls achieve whatever their post-secondary aspirations are and put them on the path to becoming successful women.
It was such an honor to once again host such an empowering event, providing young teens exposure to various roles within our company – a mentorship opportunity which was incredibly rewarding for those who have taken these roles.
Enjoy a closer look at the event with pictures and captions below.

Step Up Teens were provided with hats & scarves to style each other with the help of our Visual Merchandising Manager.
In between styling the girls had the opportunity to take a fashion quiz that would provide suggestions as to what job might be fit for them in the future.
Ending the day right with an interactive in-the-spotlight photo shoot at our in-house photo studio.
